Charlotte Vernham Wins Regional Final, Lions Youth of the Year

The Lions Youth of the Year Regional Final was held on March 26. Don College had two students who competed in the Regional Final, Charlotte Vernham and Allira Lynd-Williams. Both spoke with passion and confidence. Charlotte won the Regional Final and represented the North West region in the State Final. This was won by the Northern Finalist, Kulani. 
Don College had six students involved in this public speaking competition and all should be acknowledged for their involvement. The other students who competed in addition to Charlotte and Allira were Hannah East, Nikki Howard, Jaikira Grundy and Joshua Chilcott.
